Description

Handcrafted from aromatic cedar, this Triple Drone Flute produces a rich, warm, and resonant voice enhanced by the depth and harmonic complexity of its dual drone chambers. The result is a full-bodied sound that can range from soothing and meditative to powerful and expressive.

The natural beauty of the cedar is complemented by handcrafted Purple Heart accents, including matching bands at the mouthpiece and end cap, Purple Heart totems, and coordinating finger-hole plugs. The deep violet hues of the Purple Heart create a stunning contrast against the warm golden tones and flowing grain of the cedar body.

Abalone shell inlays are carefully set throughout the flute, adding flashes of iridescent color that shimmer beautifully in the light. Near the foot of the flute, a laser-engraved Sri Yantra design brings an element of sacred geometry and timeless symbolism to the instrument.

A unique feature of this flute is the three removable plugs located on the right drone chamber. By opening or closing these drone holes in different combinations while playing the six melody holes, players can create a wide variety of harmonic textures, drone arrangements, and tonal landscapes. This allows for greater musical expression and exploration than a traditional drone flute.

The totems are secured using genuine yellow deer-hide lace, adding an earthy, handcrafted touch that complements the organic character of the instrument.

Each flute is individually handcrafted, tuned, and finished by hand. Because every piece of wood is unique, no two flutes will ever be exactly alike.
