DESCRIPTION

- This hummingbird themed beauty is made out of aromatic cedar and accented with purple heart wood. It features a hand carved hummingbird totem, abalone shell inlays, one hummingbird engraving. I added 3 extra holes on the drone side with Purple Heart plugs. This gives you the option to change the drone note adding many more possibilities and combinations.

HOW A TRIPLE DRONE WORKS

- Triple drone flutes are very special and versatile instruments. They can light up an entire room with such a sweet yet haunting tone to it. The left chamber plays the root or drone note of D. The middle chamber plays the entire D pentatonic scale and the right chamber plays half of the D pentatonic scale. When playing the right two chambers together you get to experience a harmony drone flute. When playing the left two chambers together you experience a standard drone. While just playing the center you have a normal flute. When all three are played as one it all combines to play a variety of beautiful harmonies. These are by far my favorite flutes to play because you get three different styles of flutes in one.
