- This hummingbird themed beauty is made out of aromatic cedar and accented with purple heart wood. It features a hand carved hummingbird totem, abalone shell inlays, one hummingbird engraving. I'll also have an option to add 3 extra holes on the drone side with plugs (as seen in the photos) . ** Each piece of aromatic cedar used is unique and has its own characteristics, I'll always find the most beautiful piece to use for each flute**. Made in the standard Minor pentatonic scale
Mid E - 26" length X 3 1/2" width. - 1" bore diameter

HOW A TRIPLE DRONE WORKS
F# EXAMPLE
- Triple drone flutes are very special and versatile instruments. They can light up an entire room with such a sweet yet haunting tone to it. The left chamber plays the root or drone note of F#. The middle chamber plays the entire F# pentatonic scale and the right chamber plays half of the F# pentatonic scale. When playing the right two chambers together you get to experience a harmony drone flute. When playing the left two chambers together you experience a standard drone. While just playing the center you have a normal flute. When all three are played as one it all combines to play a variety of beautiful harmonies. These are by far my favorite flutes to play because you get three different styles of flutes in one.
